Springdale, Ark., has been a hotbed for recruiting, and one of several Red Bulldogs receiving strong Division I attention is linebacker Jamie Jones.

Last year, five Springdale products signed with Division I schools. This season, Jones joins athlete Zack Pianalto and kicker Alex Tejada as legitimate Division I prospects. Pianalto has already committed to Texas, and Tejada is considered a scholarship worthy kicker. Last weekend, Jones made his way to Arkansas for Junior Day.

"The facilities are nice. I liked them - that and how they had everything set up and everything. It's a nice place. I liked it," Jones said. "There's some things at the fieldhouse that were different. I liked all that - the weight room, the track and all that."
