NC State picks up first verbal commitment
Tight end George Bryan is getting the chance of a lifetime as far as he is concerned. He is going to play for N.C. State.
"I've always been a State fan," Bryan said. "Basically it's been a dream of me and my daddy to play there."
After thinking about committing to N.C. State for a while, Bryan pulled the trigger Monday night.
"They were excited," Bryan said. "They got Coach Amato on the phone real quick."
Bryan picked N.C. State over verbal offers from North Carolina, South Carolina and East Carolina. He was also receiving attention from Colorado, Illinois, Georgia, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest.
