Sean Jones, Thomas Davis and Greg Blue have made Georgia a place for safeties to shine on the way to All-American honors,
along with the likes of Terreal Bierria and Jermaine Phillips who went on to
play in the National Football League. C.J. Byrd wants to be the next one
to be added to that list, and step one is winning the first team slot vacated by
Blue as he prepares for spring camp 2006.
