BulldogBlitz.com STARKVILLE, Miss., - Long balls once again aided LSU as the third-ranked Tigers claimed its SEC-opening series against Mississippi State with a 7-3 victory.
Both teams collected 10 hits in the contest but it was LSU who capitalized on those opportunities clubbing their fourth and fifth homers of the series and took advantage of three Bulldog errors.
