It may not have been pretty to look at but to Rick Ray, Mississippi State's conference opening win over South Carolina was a thing of beauty.

The Bulldogs overcame a six-point deficit at the final media timeout by holding South Carolina scoreless for over four minutes to pull out a 56-54 victory at home.
