Turner returning to MSU

A familiar face is returning to Dan Mullen's staff at Mississippi State.

David Turner has agreed to come back to Starkville to take the Bulldogs vacant defensive line position, a job he held from 2007-09.

Turner confirmed his hiring via Twitter saying "Going back to Miss State! Go Dawgs!"

Turner was hired by former MSU head coach Sylvester Croom and remained on Mullen's staff during his first season. Turner left following the 2009 season and has spent the last three years coaching the defensive line at Kentucky on Joker Phillips staff.
