Tyler J.C. (Tx.) wide receiver Jeremy Chappelle heard a familiar voice on the other end of the phone when he received his offer from West Virginia.

That's because offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson recruited and coached the 6-foot-2, 212-pounder at Stephen F. Austin before he arrived in Morgantown.

"Coach Dawson coached me at SFA and we have a good relationship. When he saw my film he said he saw my name run across the film and then he offered me," he said. "It was real neat because I never thought we were going to meet up again, but I'm real comfortable with him and I know I'd be taken care of. I know the type of coach he is and I'd love to play for him."
