As the Georgia football team turns its attention to Alabama in what will amount to a national semi final game for the BCS National Championship, one thing that never stops is recruiting.
This past weekend, Georgia played host to former Sandy Creek and current Fork Union (Fork Union, Va.) wide receiver JaQuay Williams for an official visit as it took on Georgia Tech.
Soon after that visit, Williams, who has been committed to Auburn for over a year, decided to open things up according to his uncle and legal guardian Kevin Ofchus.
"Yes, he has decommitted from Auburn," said Ofchus in a phone conversation with UGASports on Sunday night. "That is correct."
The Georgia visit Williams second official visit this fall as he also visited Texas A&M on November 16.
Ofchus didn't comment on the four star wide out's visit to Athens, and said that no other visits are planned at this time.
"We haven't planned anything yet," he said. "We are working on that now."
Williams, who is set to enroll in January, will also make a decision sometime in the near future according to Ofchus.
"He will be deciding in the next 30 days," said Ofchus. "Definitely in that time."
