Osborne out for more offers
Evan Osborne is one of the elite two-way players in Mississippi for the class of 2013.
The 6-foot-4, 198-pounder plays both quarterback and safety at Pearl High School and has already landed three scholarship offers as an athlete.
"Southern (Miss) gave me my first offer," Osborne said. "Arkansas State was my second and Louisiana-Lafayette just gave me my third. That's all that I have right now. Memphis wants to offer me but want to see me at a camp first. I'm just going to keep working my hardest to try and get that scholarship."
Osborne made a camp stop at Mississippi State earlier this month and received plenty of feedback from secondary coaches Tony Hughes and Melvin Smith as well as head coach Dan Mullen.
