When Cedar Falls native Ike Boettger received a scholarship offer from Iowa on Tuesday, he had a pretty good idea that is where he would be headed for college, but wanted to wait just a bit before making a commitment. On Sunday, the 6-foot-5, 220-pound Boettger decided that he had waited long enough.

"I just committed," said Boettger. "I've been talking about it a lot with my family and just figured why not. I mean I love the coaches, love the campus, and love everything about it, so I just decided to go ahead and do it today."
