Spring Tour: Gators offer Jacksonville lineman
It isn't at all unusual to see top prospects play two ways on the high school level. A wide receiver might also line up in the secondary, a bigger running back could see time at linebacker or an offensive lineman might move over and play along the defensive line. It is however a bit unusual to see a player who is approaching 300-pounds line up at defensive tackle on one play and then turn right around, huddle up with the offense and then not only split out wide on the next play, but then run a post pattern.
That's exactly what happened during Wednesday's spring practice at Orange Park (Fla.) High School when De'Asian Richardson took the field to showcase his athleticism.
