Oklahoma DB looking at Ducks
Stanvon Taylor is a four-star cornerback and one of the top prospects in the football-crazed state of Oklahoma. The fact that Oregon is high on his list is a testament to the kind of national pull the Ducks have right now.
Taylor, a 5-foot-11, 172-pound cornerback, is rated the No. 16 corner and the No. 188 overall prospect on the Rivals250.
Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas Tech, Ole Miss and several other programs from the South have offered Taylor and told him that he's a priority recruit. It can often be difficult to pull recruits out of that part of the country but the Ducks are in a good position right now.
"Right now I would probably say my favorites would be Oklahoma, Kansas State, TU (Tulsa) because they're local here and I like their interest in me, Oregon, Alabama, Texas Tech and maybe Houston," Taylor told Duck Sports Authority this week.
