Spring Recap: Improvement along the line
If you're looking for a glaring bright spot coming out of spring practice, you need to look no further than the area where the Gators needed it most.
"I'm just really pleased with our progress on the offensive line," UF head coach Will Muschamp said after the Orange and Blue Debut. "If there's any one unit of our football team that I think has made tremendous strides and needed to, it's been there."
Credit talent and credit experience.
Of the five players Florida starter along its offensive line for the spring game, three were members of the Rivals100 coming out of high school. Still this wasn't enough in 2011 as the Gators allowed 23 sacks and had the No. 73 rushing offense in the country.
But after a tough year, Florida believes the experience its linemen accumulated has changed it for the better in 2012.
