Scott Happy With Houston Offer
The Houston Cougars have taken on head coach Tony Levine's Never back down from anyone mentality and have clearly used it in their approach to recruitment of the 2013 class. With offers out to some of the top rated recruits in the country the staff has not hidden the fact that they are going to take a shot at anyone they feel has what they are looking for.
One position they definitely will want to aim high on is the quarterback position. With the departure of Case Keenum and the naming of redshirt sophomore David Piland[db] as the starter moving forward, any recruit they sign at the position in the 2013 class will be a redshirt sophomore when Piland finishes his career.
With another quarterback on the roster that is still developing in redshirt freshman [db]Bram Kohlhausen and incoming freshman Rex Dausin set to land on campus this summer, the time is ideal for Houston to take a shot at a big name recruit in this class. One name that is in Houston's sights and was offered recently is Tahlequah (OK) Sequoyah quarterback Braden Scott
