Antoine admits he was tempted
Logan Lowery
BulldogBlitz.com Three-star safety Quadry Antoine has been committed to Mississippi State since early June.
But after a stellar senior season several more schools came calling including No. 3 Oklahoma State.
"Staying committed was kind of tough because Oklahoma State came at me and offered me a scholarship," Antoine said. "That's the number three team in the nation. I kind of thought about de-committing but after thinking about it it's kind of far from home. I really want my family to be able to come and watch me play. Also I've always wanted to go play in the SEC at the next level. And then I just felt more comfortable at MSU and have Coach (Dan) Mullen my word. I'm still solid to my verbal and now it's just a matter of signing the papers."
Antoine also has offers from Arkansas, Arkansas State, Florida International, Louisiana-Lafayette, Memphis, Minnesota, Missouri, North Texas, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Southern Miss and Western Kentucky.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pounder will take his official visit to Mississippi State this weekend.
