January Junior Day at Auburn
Colleges typically use the final two weekends of January to host prospects that are scheduled to sign scholarship papers the first Wednesday in February, but not this year. Not at Auburn.
The Tigers have already hosted more than 30 seniors on official visits and hundreds more on unofficial visits. Only one (Ricky Parks) of Auburn's 16 commitments has not taken an official visit, and the four-star tight end will be on campus this weekend for it.
But Parks will be one of a few seniors in Auburn. This weekend, the Tigers are putting a strong emphasis on the juniors.
Approximately 20 of Auburn's top targets in the 2013 class are planning to be on the Plains for a January "Junior Day".
