UCLA head basketball coach Ben Howland couldn't get the split he was hoping for after losing a tough game to Stanford on Thursday Evening, they played Cal (12-3, 2-0 Pac-12) tough for a half only trailing 40-39 at the half, but wasn't entirely a different story in the second half when Cal pull away from the Bruins (7-7, 0-2 Pac 12) winning handily 85-69.
