Iowa City (Iowa) West wide receiver Dondre Alexander lives just five minutes from Kinnick Stadium, home of the Iowa Hawkeyes. That proximity to the University has helped the 6-3, 195-pound junior receive early attention from his hometown school.

In the near term, Alexander is focused on his junior season, which kicks off this Friday against Waterloo East. As a sophomore he tallied 37 receptions for 537 yards and seven touchdowns and is looking to better those numbers as a junior.
