Harlow: 'I'm a Sooner'
From the time his offer came in from Oklahoma Tallahassee (Fla.) Godby talent Laith Harlow knew there was something special to the Sooners interest.
Tuesday afternoon the 6-foot-5, 240-pound Harlow made his interest in the Sooner program a reality.
Committing to the Sooners and becoming commitment No. 6 for the Sooners class of 2012 Harlow now looks forward to joining an elite group of tight ends that have called Norman, Okla. home.
"With everybody getting offers from all around the country it's hard to take it in but when you get that one offer-the one that feels different than any 30 you have or however many you have-as soon as you get that feeling it's time to go. You can't sleep on it," said Harlow.
"This year they only have what 12 offers to give and they are only offering one tight end and if you don't jump on it then it might then become to late so I kind of took it as that."
