As the Lon Kruger era begins, the Silver Lake, Kan., native now returns to an area he once called his 'own backyard'. Having spent seasons in Atlanta as a head coach in the NBA and more recently in 'Sin City' as the head man at UNLV it had been a long time since he and his wife Barbara had called the Midwest home.
