Morris twins lead second half surge
TULSA, OKLA. -- Whatever message Bill Self delivered at halftime of Fridays NCAA Tournament opener for Kansas, the No. 1 seed in the Southwest region, was well received. The Jayhawks turned a four point halftime lead into a 19 point victory, 72-53, against the Boston University Terries, the No. 16 seed. Following a lackluster first half, Kansas put together a dominating performance, especially on the defensive end. Marcus Morris scored a team-high 16 points, while twin brother, Markieff Morris, finished with 15 points.
