Beating Missouri top priority for Kansas
Saturday's regular season finale between No. 2 ranked Kansas (28-2; 13-2) and No. 22/24 ranked Missouri (22-8; 8-7) isn't just another game on the schedule. In fact, the Border War Showdown between the two bitter rivals couldn't be any more important. With a win, the Jayhawks will clinch their seventh straight Big 12 regular season championship outright, and move one-step closer to earning a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. For the Tigers, finishing the season undefeated at home is at stake. Furthermore, MU, with a win, would certainly improve its seeding in the NCAA tournament, and would prevent KU from winning the Big 12 regular season championship outright.
