Smith can't wait to get to State
Logan Lowery
BulldogBlitz.com Later today Stone Mountain, Ga., three-star defensive end Preston Smith will make his way to Mississippi State for the first time since the Kentucky game last fall.
It was that last visit that convinced the 6-foot-6, 230-pounder to commit to the Bulldogs.
"I loved the atmosphere there," Smith said. "It was packed. I think it was sold out that game. I can't wait to play in front of a sold out crowd with everybody chanting your team name or maybe your name when you make a tackle or something."
Smith chose MSU over offers from Florida Atlantic, Kentucky, Marshall, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, Southern Miss, Syracuse, Central Florida and West Virginia.
This weekend Smith will take his first and only official visit to Starkville.
