Darreon Herring is one of the top Class of 2012 linebackers from Georgia and that's saying something. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect has received early verbal scholarship offers from Duke and Vanderbilt, and Devils Illustrated recently caught up with him to get his thoughts on the recruiting process as it starts to develop.

While Herring may not be the most athletic linebacker in his class he has a good frame that will allow him to carry a lot more weight than he currently does and he has a knack for finding himself around the ball and making plays.
