Harris heading for spring enrollment
In just a matter of days Johnathan Harris will become a college student-athlete.
The Boynton Beach, Fla., three-star defensive end is graduating from high school and will enroll at Mississippi State for the spring semester and participate in spring practice.
"Right now I'm just excited," Harris said. "I really haven't gotten nervous yet. I think I'm going to get nervous on the way up there but for right now I'm real excited to get out of the house."
While the Bulldogs are playing in the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville on Jan. 1, Harris will be making his move from the Sunshine State to Starkville. He is still undecided on his major and will begin taking some of his core classes this spring.
Harris committed to MSU on Nov. 5 on the WPTV local news in West Palm Beach prior to his game against Spanish River. He had just returned from an official visit to State for the Kentucky game weekend.
