Gators-Tigers: Gameday Recap
Before Saturday's Florida-LSU game, we asked 10 questions relating to the Gators. Here's a look back at those questions and a brief recap of what transpired at the Swamp, from the gutsy play of John Brantley to the Gator rushing attack:
1. Will Brantley be at 100 percent? The redshirt junior hurt his ribs last week at Alabama after getting sandwiched by two defenders in the fourth quarter. He was limited at practice this week (Gator head coach Urban Meyer said others came in to throw for him at times), but is said to be feeling much better. Nonetheless, one has to wonder if and how much the injury will affect him Saturday night. The truth is, Brantley's stats aren't that great. Despite that, he's still Florida's best option at quarterback, and if he isn't at full strength that's probably not a good thing for an already inconsistent Gator offense.
