Gibson is going to San Antonio
Gardena (Calif.) four-star defensive end Jason Gibson joined his teammate George Farmer Wednesday as the latest Serra High School representative of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Gibson, who accumulated 68 tackles and 13 sacks as a junior, is already looking forward to playing against the best the nation has to offer.
Last fall, current USC freshman wide receiver Robert Woods was being honored as an Army All-American. Woods would leave the Alamodome in San Antonio (Texas) as one of the rare talents to play offense, defense and special teams in the game.
With two-a-day practices, press junkets and special appearances, the Army All-American Bowl is a prelude to life as a D-I football player.
