Hardy back healthy for the Bulldogs
Templeton Hardy was one of the most sought after defensive tackles in the country in 2008.
The former four-star prospect had offers from around the nation but decided to remain instate and chose Mississippi State as his college destination. Now entering his third year on campus and working on the offensive line, Hardy is starting to come into his own.
Hardy was rated the No. 11 defensive tackle in the country and had scholarship offers from the likes of Auburn, LSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Tulane and USC. But looking back he has no regrets about his decision.
"I came to Mississippi State because I wanted to be close to my family," Hardy said. "It was a real good choice. I'm glad I made my choice and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world."
Upon his arrival in Starkville, Hardy was given an opportunity on both sides of the ball, first at defensive tackle before he settled in on offense.
