June visit to U-M convinced Tony Posada
Michigan picked up the commitment of Tampa (Fla.) Plant offensive tackle Tony Posada on Wednesday. Michigan was an early leader for the 6-6, 315-pound prospect, but it was not until a June unofficial visit to Ann Arbor that the big offensive linemen was convinced he would be a Wolverine.
Tampa Plant head coach Robert Weiner noted in Wednesday's press conference the unity among his offensive linemen and how their tradition was always focused on the team rather than the individual, despite fielding several great individual prospects in recent years. That theme was obviously important to Posada in choosing his college home and his comments suggest he found that at Michigan.
