The first commitment for the Hokies in the 2010 recruiting class came just over two years ago when defensive tackle Nick Acree gave his pledge shortly after the June camp in 2008 following his sophomore year. After all that time being a Virginia Tech pledge, the 6-foot-6, 295-pounder has attended two schools and now is on his way to Blacksburg to enroll in three weeks.
