Griffin continues to work hard
Just because Nick Griffin has already accomplished one of his goals by signing with Mississippi State doesn't mean he has stopped working.
The 5-foot-11, 195-pound running back from New Augusta, Miss., has not stopped his workout regimen since the season ended and has been preparing for a June enrollment for the Bulldogs.
"I've never stopped working out," Griffin said. "My coach won't let me stop working out so I'm still in pretty good shape. I'm also running track. I do the 100-meter, 4x1 relay and the long jump. We've got regionals on Tuesday."
Griffin will graduate from Perry Central High School on May 21ST and plans to enroll at MSU just a few days later.
"I'm not going to have a summer at all," Griffin said. "But it's alright, I'm used to it."
Griffin is currently ranked eighth among his graduating class and is fully qualified.
