Joyer a rarity in today's game

AggieYell.com Finding a fullback at the high school level is getting harder and harder for college coaches. For one thing, many high schools have gone to the spread offense and no longer use a fullback. In addition, it is not easy to find prospects who are dedicated to the sacrifice the position entails with regard to the physical demands, blocking techniques and the lack of carries.
That is why when a great prospect at the position comes along at the high school level, he is sure to gain national attention. As Tampa (Fla.) Catholic head coach Bob Henriquez will attest, Hunter Joyer is almost too good to be true in that regard.
