It's a well-worn subject among close observers of Tennessee's recruiting efforts that offensive line remains a significant need for the Vols in the Class of 2011. Adding big bodies and establishing SEC-level depth up front is a priority as the staff fans out for the spring evaluation period. New Orleans' prospect Trai Turner has emerged as a potential target in the hunt for those big bodies.

Turner (6-foot-5, 340 pounds) has some obvious physical gifts that make him look like a future SEC offensive lineman.

Tennessee is among several schools to share that thought, having extended an offer to Turner last month. A gesture that made an impression.
