KU advances to title game

JayhawkSlant.com Kansas City, Mo. -- Top-ranked Kansas (31-2; 17-1) was expected to play itself into Saturdays Big 12 Tournament Championship game, and the Jayhawks have done just that. Trailing for much of Fridays first quarterfinal game against Texas A&M, Bill Self's squad hit the Aggies with a 16-0 run in the second half, and surged past A&M, 79-66. Sherron Collins scored a game-high 26 points on 9-of-19 shooting from the field.
