UCLA beat Washington State 74 to 62 tonight as they scored the first 4 points of the game and led start to finish. UCLA used their 2-3 zone again and held the Cougars to 35.6% shooting in the game. This zone is new to UCLA fans but it stifled the Cougars with its intensity as it stopped the penetration into the key while it also limited the Cougar’s 3 point shooting.
