Two weeks ago, Lincoln (Ala.) athlete D.J. Howard was planning an official visit to Clemson. He was considering one to Kentucky.

Howard, committed to Auburn since July, was looking around.

Then came an in-home visit from Auburn head coach Gene Chizik. Howard's official visit to Auburn was next.
