Love set for official visit
Jamerson Love made his commitment to remain close to home and attend Mississippi State several months ago.
The three-star cornerback from Aberdeen, Miss., is now set to take his one and only official visit to Starkville this weekend.
Love admitted that he is not quite sure what to expect from his trip to the Bulldogs campus.
"I really don't know what all I'm going to do," Love said. "I know I'm going down there and they are going to set me up with some people to talk about majors. I don't know what is going to happen after that."
One thing Love has on his mind is to help sway some uncommitted visitors to play for MSU. But it will not be the first time the 5-foot-11, 175-pounder has worn the hat of a recruiter.
"Once I get down there Coach (Dan) Mullen told me that all of the big time guys that are not committed to us that we need to try to get them," Love said. "I'm going to do my best and try. I was trying to when I was down in Alabama and Matthew Wells committed. I stressed that to him because he was my roommate. I just talked to him about coming to State and I guess he finally made his decision."
Love received an in-home visit last Friday with Mullen, David Turner and Tony Hughes dropping by.
