Rocky Top not so good to Kansas
Top-ranked Kansas (14-1; 0-0) has been knocked from the ranks of the unbeaten. Facing No. 15/16 ranked Tennessee (12-2; 0-0) in Knoxville; Bill Self's squad built an eight point lead early in the first half, and appeared to be clicking on all cylinders. However, the Jayhawks were unable to hold on, and lost their first game of the year, 76-68. Despite being undermanned, the Volunteers received a huge lift from Renaldo Woolridge, who scored 14 points and was 4-of-6 from behind the arc. Sherron Collins scored a game-high 22 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome 16 turnovers, or the easy scoring opportunities the Jayhawks failed to convert.
