Mike Holmes' basketball career -- at South Carolina, at least -- is over. Holmes was kicked off the team on Friday for a repeated violation of team rules. The junior forward became the second casualty for the Gamecocks' basketball team this year, a crippling blow for a team expecting to contend for an NCAA tournament berth.
