KU focused on beating UM for the first time
As a program filled with a long history of success and rich tradition, there isn't much, if anything, the University of Kansas men's basketball program hasn't achieved on the hardwood. Currently, the Jayhawks are third, only behind Kentucky and North Carolina, in all-time wins. Throughout Allen Fieldhouse, conference championship, conference tournament championship and national championship banners hang from the top of the rafters. The names of former greats will forever be remembered, and their jerseys will forever be honored inside the hallowed halls of Allen Fieldhouse. However, despite all its success, the one thing Kansas has been unable to do is defeat Michigan. The Jayhawks are 0-5 against the Wolverines, so it should come as no surprise that Bill Self's squad eagerly anticipates Saturday's 11:00 A.M. tipoff.
