Competition begins for 2010 starting QB
Auburn will hold approximately 14 practices before the Outback Bowl Jan. 1 and much of that work will focus on the young players that worked on the scout team or were backups this fall.
One position battle that's already getting started for next season is at quarterback. Junior Neil Caudle will return as the heir apparent after playing in five games as the backup to senior starter Chris Todd.
Redshirt freshman Barrett Trotter and true freshman Clint Moseley should benefit the most from the extra work as they try and challenge Caudle.
