Tigers can't shoot straight in loss to Troy

AuburnSports.com Auburn's shot just 39.2 percent from the field, making 8-of-31 from 3-point range, as Troy held on for an 81-77 win over the Tigers Friday night at Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum.
The loss dropped Auburn to 4-4 on the season.
"This is unacceptable, unacceptable," senior forward Lucas Hargrove said. "I take full responsibility for this loss as a senior and a leader. We've got no excuses. I don't think they have a better team than us but they were better tonight."
The Tigers took 20 more shots than Troy but the Trojans made 29-of-54 (53.7%) while AU made 29-of-74.
