South Carolina starts its first of two scheduled tournaments tonight. The Gamecocks are hoping it will give them the necessary preparation for a third. USC (2-0) opens its competition at the Charleston Classic at 9:30 p.m. against LaSalle, hoping to win three games in four days and thus take the tournament title.
