UConn rusher is Stew's focus
MORGANTOWN--Head coach Bill Stewart covered a multitude of topics during his Tuesday press conference. When the Mountaineers welcome the Connecticut Huskies Saturday, he acknowledged the presence of heavy hearts. That doesn't make the X's and O's less important.
"It is round two," said Stewart. "We have a good group of young men here that are saddened by a situation, but after that coin toss, the Mountaineers need to be ready to play football."
Stewart's top worry is the UConn running game. Sophomore Jordon Todman plays brigadier to redshirt junior Andre Dixon's general role. They rank No. 4 and No. 3 in Big East rushing, respectively.
